I volunteer my assistance in the hospital or clinic usually two days of the week for 12 hours each day. I really enjoy assisting the nurses with vital signs, ambulations, dressing changes, passing medications, giving injections, and just quality time with the patients. Currently this semester I have finished 75 hours in the ICU, 75 hours in my immersion clinical & I am in the middle of finishing 112 hours for my community clinical. It is rewarding giving back to the community in my current clinical where I spend my Wednesday's and Thursdays at the Community Clinic off MLK in Fayetteville.

I volunteer my assistance in the hospital usually two days of the week for 12 hours each day. I really enjoy assisting the nurses with vital signs, ambulations, dressing changes, passing medications, giving injections, and just quality time with the patients. This semester I have already had 144 hours of clinical rotation and I still will have 72 more. It is a really fulfilling part of my week.
It was cancelled, said to still get service hours.
I volunteered for 6 hours on the Monday of spring break at the salvation army in Texas. It was nice to get some service hours in while I was back in Plano for the week. I organized, labeled, and marked clothes, donated houseware, and books from the back storage room onto the floor. I was there from 9am to 3pm and it was very rewarding to see people come in the store so happy to have a new dress shirt, children's book or toy.
I volunteered at the Salvation Army when I went home for winter break. It was nice to help set out new clothes, tag the clothes, and organize the new donations before the busy holiday. I volunteered from 9am to 1pm with my brother and it was very rewarding to do something for my home town during break.
I went to Restore for three hours on Saturday. It was rewarding to organize and restock supplies for individuals in need to come and buy. The workers were so sweet and it was a really cool experience!
