We went outside and did a trash pick-up with the kids because it was so hot out! Then, the kids had a movement break outside. It was nice to see the teacher adapting the classroom activities to things that they can do outside and being flexible with their schedule. They were going to work on invention projects, but the room was full so they went back outside instead.

I helped the students with reading and then they went outside for a movement break. The kids love having an older kid to read to and help them with their activities. I learned about Lexia and that is a very cool reading tool that I can use in my future classroom!

I learned about how the students use Seesaw in their classroom with the ipads or chromebooks and that will be a great tool to integrate into my classroom in the future. The kids really seem to like it.

Our class went to the classroom down the hall to watch a little talent show that they were putting on for our class. It was so so so cute and I loved how to teachers made it so special and real. They had a specific order and they truly just let the kids do whatever they wanted, but my favorite part was how the kids did not feel judged, they just did a talent that they enjoy and were excited about. There was a trio of boys that performed a dance routine and it was adorable! The teacher even played sound effects of people laughing during jokes and stuff. I hope to do this in my classroom some day.
