A lot of students received shoutout for reading more words from a story than they did last time. Each time a student gets a shoutout, I see more improvement. I feel like some of the students are able to read more advanced stories and maybe it is an option we could try next time we read.

We read a loud, and I could see that they have improved a lot from the last time we met. I also helped students with some vocabulary words by helping them with pronunciation.
I helped 2nd graders read out loud and compared their progress from a previous session. They improved a lot from reading with the earlier volunteer. Many of them read twice as many words as they did than the last time, and that made me extremely proud of them.
