Bicycle Collective

About

Join us in promoting cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation, recreation, and as a cornerstone of a cleaner, healthier, and safer society. The Collective provides refurbished bicycles and educational programs to the community, focusing on children and lower-income households.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Bicycle Collective, grounding our culture as a bike shop by the community, for the community:

  • In our shops they enable us to provide goods and services to everyone, including low-income households.

  • Learning bicycle repair, they enrich our community while gaining valuable skills for themselves.

  • Running bicycle valet and other outreach events, they connect local networks and push the boundaries of our services.

  • Taking on other projects with Bicycle Collective, they use their passions to improve and develop the shop.

Whether or not you have prior bike experience, there is a place for you. All we need from you is a passion for our mission and a regular time commitment.

Bicycle Collective volunteers can expect to learn a thing or two, get a little dirty, and have a whole load of fun!
